An award-winning artist based in Livingston, New Jersey, Clark Carroll holds diverse experience in graphic design, illustration, and fine art. Clark Carroll established his presence as a professional artist as early as 1972. Since that time, his work has appeared in exhibits throughout New Jersey, including the Ridgewood Art Institute Regional Open Juried Art Show, the Livingston Art Association Members' Show at ADP Corporation, and the Bernardsville Public Library Juried Art Show. Beyond New Jersey, his work also was presented in New York City.
Continuing to develop his painting career, Clark Carroll operates a full-time, freelance business at Carroll Graphics. His current work ranges from computer graphics and fine art to medical illustrations. He offers several services, including print production, art direction, and administrative work. He directly contributes to advertising groups and publishing companies. As a fine artist, Clark Carroll specializes in creating custom fine art paintings from photographs and en plein air renditions of homes, landscapes, and people. Although well-versed in many painting techniques, he particularly enjoys painting landscapes in a realistic style.
Clark Carroll holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History from Drake University. In New York City, he studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and figure painting at the Art Students' League of New York. While a student, he previously won a Blue Ribbon at the School of Visual Arts' Illustration Competition. In developing his interests as an artist, he studied with accomplished individuals including Pauline Lorentz, Henry Gasser, and John Grabach at Heritage Art Gallery at South Orange, New Jersey. His diverse academic history includes studying comparative anatomy, chemistry, and biology at the University of Texas Arlington. Active in various artistic communities, Clark Carroll maintains affiliations with organizations including Essex Water Color Club, the Association of Medical Illustrators, and the Livingston Art Association.
